October 2025: team chat gets message options and pinning, and Google Calendar syncs both ways

Team chat got a real message-interaction layer. October added a message options menu with an emoji tray, the ability to pin a message in a conversation, and a reply-to-message feature — the set of interactions people expect from modern chat, now live in Team Chat.

Google Calendar sync became two-way. Previously calendar data flowed one direction; October shipped two-way sync, so changes made in Zunou and changes made in Google Calendar now reconcile with each other. Alongside it, the meeting bot gained auto-invite for ongoing sessions and session cleanup, and events picked up an explicit owner.

Insights groundwork was laid for what became recommendations. A recommendation migration and query landed this month — pagination and incremental updates to insights — setting up the actionable-recommendations layer that shipped the following month.

Also shipped: an events view on the companion status page and an "invite existing user by email" flow.
