March 2025: the Meetings tab launches, with Fireflies auto-fetch and AI-grounded summaries

Meetings became a real tab in the product. March built out a dedicated Meetings surface end to end: viewing all meetings in one place, creating a meeting manually, inviting a pulse to a meeting, managing meetings through Google Calendar, and a summary side panel with its own transcript view. Meetings also started auto-refetching so the list stays current without a manual reload.

Fireflies meetings sync automatically after integration. Once a user connects Fireflies, its meetings now fetch automatically rather than requiring a manual pull — the first sign of a third-party meeting-recording integration going live.

The AI got grounded in meeting data. The assistant can now pull information from a user's connected data sources and meeting summaries when answering questions, can retrieve manually-added meetings (a gap that existed before this month), and gained a chat button to add a meeting directly from a conversation.

Also shipped: an early meeting-collaboration feature (shared editing tied to a meeting) and an on-demand automation capability.
