December 2025: meetings get real transcription upgrades, and AI chat gets a streaming endpoint

Meeting transcription got substantially better. December shipped hybrid transcription that merges real-time and batch processing, ingestion for on-device recordings, an AssemblyAI integration, and an actionables tab in the meeting details modal so action items surface directly from a call. Meeting sessions also picked up an explicit type and ordering.

AI chat gained a streaming foundation. A new Text Agent streaming endpoint powers AI chat, backed by OpenAI API key management (added, then a follow-up fix to how keys are fetched) and new Bedrock IAM policies — laying infrastructure for AI responses to stream rather than arrive all at once.

Also shipped: a contacts feature, a notification manager plus global notifications now surfaced on the personal pulse, a refreshed pulse chat UI and header icons, and account-side work including soft-delete for users, a restore-on-login flow, and updated user permissions.
