April 2025: a task agent arrives — create and query tasks right from chat

A dedicated task agent shipped. April introduced an AI agent focused specifically on tasks: it can create user-defined tasks directly from a chat message, answer queries about tasks in both team chat and pulse chat, suggest auto-completion, and surface a review button after a task is created so users can check its work. Prompting for the agent was iterated on through the month, and the LLM model it runs on became configurable per tool and per agent rather than fixed.

Tasks themselves got more structured. A task can now also act as a list, and tasks gained an explicit assignee field.

Also shipped: action items now appear in meeting summary queries, meeting sessions get a daily status update, and a "Manage Assistant" action button was added to the pulse view.
